AFS Intercultural Programs will facilitate a discussion about the new PISA Global Competence Framework with Mr. Mario Piacentini, the lead analyst from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) who worked on its development.
At the April meeting of the Global Education Coalition of New York City (GEC-NYC), Mr. Piacentini will discuss the new global competence framework and assessment strategy for the triennial Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) test, which measures the skills and knowledge of 15-year-old students worldwide.
Mr. Piacentini’s presentation and the Q&A session will be broadcast via Zoom Webinars and is open to all educators, NGOs, and students, for free.
